Seniors Mat Classes

Our Seniors classes are designed for people over 60 who want to improve their strength, flexibility, posture and balance. This class has a specific focus on weight bearing exercise to improve bone density and balance training to reduce the risk of falls.

We also aim to provide whole body strengthening and stretching to ensure you can easily complete functional tasks without the risk of injury.

How Do I Get Started?

Before commencing the class you will need to be thoroughly assessed by one of our physiotherapists. This is important to ensure we are aware of any pre-existing problems or areas of weakness. The appointment will also include instruction in some basic exercises to allow you to safely participate in your first class.

The price is $21 per class

Classes are fully rebatable with Private Health Insurers as the classes are run by a physiotherapist.
